Relax At Patong Beach : The Kee Resort and Spa

Mix The Luxury And Peacefull

At The Kee Resort And Spa Patong Beach

Patong beach Phuket is certainly the busiest beaches, and right in the center of everything is Soi Bangla, which is always full of bars, girls, boys pretending to be a girl ... and restaurants, shops and hotels , Patong is a little too much for my taste, but many people like it! If you go back 12 years, when I first came here, Soi Bangla little different, indeed the whole Patong different. Now there are Jungceylon shopping center where once used to be a dirty market, and although Soi Bangla is still the center of night life, things change.

Many people would like to see more families Patong oriented, less bar, less bar girl, and I think more shops and cafes. This personal call if you think Patong (or part of Patong) slum, or maybe you think it's just a whole lot of fun. I tend to think of the area of Soi Bangla as a fun party zone, in fact anyone can hang out there, it's not full of tourists old men looking for girls, although some people want to look like that.

The bar is not enough to dominate as before, and in 2011, with the opening of The Kee Resort, and The Kee Plaza, the region gained, new, modern face. The old road called "Soi Sea Dragon" lost. Replaced by something much better!

(top) The Kee Plaza, the shopping center attached to the resort, and Sky Lounge - on the roof, should be a good place for sunset! I may have to try it, although I guess the Sky high prices!

The Kee Resort is not great, there are about 250 rooms, along with a large swimming pool in the center of the resort, the restaurant (but then again, you're in the middle of Patong, so there are plenty of dining options nearby), and Sky Lounge with 360 degree views , There is also a fitness center, and (as the full name suggests) Spa.

The thing with a resort like this - it's in the middle of Patong, but once you're at the resort, it's like an oasis. I wonder if the proximity to Soi Bangla probably means the hotel received a noise problem, but I have read some reviews and see comments like "Very close to the madness of Bangla road without the noise!" .. Maybe it depends what room you get.

You should expect some noise I think. Perhaps a good place to stay if you want some night life, and if you want quiet in Patong, think again (or live in a place like Amari, at the south end of the beach).
